March 5, 2020 – Portland Columbia Symphony is committed to the health and safety of our audiences, musicians, and personnel. In advance of our March 13-15 concerts, we are monitoring the developments regarding COVID-19 closely. As of now, all activities are proceeding as scheduled.

Both FUMC and MHCC are taking additional precautions to curb the spread of viruses, with custodial crews conducting increased wipe-downs of high-touch surfaces, and extra hand-washing and/or sanitizing stations in place. Should the City of Portland or the CDC officially recommend that events be canceled, we will notify all ticket-holders by email in advance of the impacted concerts. We will also continue to post updates here.

If you’re feeling ill or at-risk, feel free to email our Box Office (, and we will happily exchange your tickets for our May concerts. In the meantime, wash your hands often, cover those coughs and sneezes, and stay well!
